20 lipca, podczas Comic-Conu w San Diego zostaną rozdane nagrody Eisnera za rok 2017. W 31 kategoriach zostało nominowanych ponad 120 tytułów drukowanych i internetowych opublikowanych w Stanach Zjednoczonych pomiędzy 1 stycznia, a 31 grudnia 2017 roku. Wśród nich znalazły się również komiksy, które premierę zaliczyły w Polsce.
Z serii wydawanych w Polsce, wśród nominacji znalazły się: trzy pozycje od Non Stop Comics – Monstressa, Giant Days i Duch Gaudiego, tytuł wydany przez Mucha Comics – The Wicked + The Divine, oraz komiks wydawany przez Egmont – Czarny Młot. Z kolei w kategorii Najlepszy autor nominowany został Jeff Lemire twórca m.in. Czarnego Młota i serii Descender (również wydanej w Polsce). Także w kategorii Najlepszy liternik nominacji doczekał się znany u nas autor – Stan Sakai, twórca komiksów Usagi Yojimbo.
