Clone Wars, zarówno te telewizyjne jak i te komiksowe, pomimo początkowych kontrowersji zadomowiły się w uniwersum Star Wars już na dobre. Jakkolwiek ta konwencja nie wszystkim się podoba, ma swoją tożsamość, dzięki czemu nie jest nijaka, w przeciwieństwie do sporej części Expanded Universe.
